What we collect. When you enroll or join a notify list we collect your name, email, and — for students — the information Utah requires on your completion certificate (name, dealership, driver license number, completion date). We collect nothing else, and we never ask for more than the state requires.
Cookies & device storage. This site stores only your language and color preferences on your own device so the site remembers how you like it. We load no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, and no social media pixels.
Payments. Purchases are handled by our payment processor. Your card details go directly to them over an encrypted connection — we never see or store your full card number.
What we do with your information. We use it to run your course, issue your certificate, and keep completion records so MVED can verify a certificate if they ask. We email you about your course and, only if you opted in, about enrollment opening. That’s it.
What we never do. We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information. We don’t share it with anyone except MVED as required by our approval as a course provider, and the payment processor that handles your purchase.
Retention & your rights. We keep completion records because MVED can ask us to verify a certificate years later — those records we must retain. Everything else is yours to control: email info@utahdealerschool.com any time to see what we have about you or to have your marketing contact information deleted.
Security. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we keep what we collect to a minimum so there is little to lose.
Children. This site and our courses are for adults pursuing a Utah dealer license and are not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes. If this policy changes, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes affecting current students get an email.
